POD Design provided landscape architecture services for The Beckett, a residential community in Renton, Washington, focused on transforming and elevating its outdoor amenity spaces. Drawing inspiration from the proposed Craftsman-style architecture, the design blends timeless character with modern functionality. The project scope included enhancements to the main entry and clubhouse, revitalized pool areas, and the addition of a BBQ and dining patio, putting green, and an outdoor firepit lounge. Native plantings and regionally appropriate hardscape materials were used to complement the Pacific Northwest setting while ensuring long-term durability. The improvements have dramatically enhanced the community experience, creating warm, welcoming spaces that reflect both the architectural style and the active lifestyle of its residents.
