The Nature Playscape is situated at the Chrisholm Historic Farrmsted, set between the Augspurger House and Rosemont Barn. Friends of Chrisholm Partners with MetroParks of Butler County collaborate on providing fun-filled family activities, while preserving, restoring, and maintaining the heritage of the structures and setting. This historic site has been preserved to honor one of the first Amish Mennonite settlements in Butler County. The Playscape celebrates the farm, agriculture, and sustainable living themes, with native plants and natural play elements as key play components. A composting restroom and a picnic shelter are walking distance from the Playscape. POD Design was commissioned to provide professional services for the adjacent second phase: the Chrisholm Farmstead.
