The Edward N. and Della L. Thome Adult and Senior Care Center is an adult day care setting located on the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus in Windsor Mill, Maryland. As a sector of the Easter Seals Community, its goal is to provide supportive services to seniors with the ability to live as independently as possible. The physical design provided an opportunity to transform the culture by creating interactive spaces within the center. The nucleus of the design is the residential scaled kitchen that fosters interaction and activities that occur naturally in the home.
