This private landscape was designed to compliment the strong lines and traditional materials of this Georgian style residence. The outdoor spaces transition from the formal area near the house to the naturally wooded site beyond. Included are a motor court made of hand molded bricks and a built-in grill surrounded by a cutting garden. One of the most important elements of the landscape is its use of water as a design element. Water plays a key role in the reading garden as well as the rear terrace which has a fountain element as its focal point.
